Hi (Namaste), I’m Kabiraj Negi Lama (कविराज नेगी लामा), a passionate sports professional committed to developing athletes and promoting Para Taekwondo in Nepal. I’ve been volunteering as the National Para Taekwondo Team Coach at the Nepal Taekwondo Association (NTA) since 2015. Additionally, I have been working as the Executive Assistant to the General Secretary's Office at the All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) since 2018. My focus is on contributing to the growth and success of sports in my country. I am also proud to be the grandson of former minister Tilak Bahadur Negi Lama, whose legacy continues to inspire my journey in sports leadership. With extensive experience in sports administration and coaching, I hold a 6th Dan Black Belt, certified by Kukkiwon and the Nepal Taekwondo Association since 2023. I’ve had the privilege of coaching athletes in prestigious international events such as the Tokyo 2020 and Paris 2024 Paralympic Games, where we’ve achieved historic milestones for Nepal. Under my guidance, Nepal has secured 12 official international medals, including 3 gold, 2 silver, and 7 bronze, across events such as the Paralympic Games, World Championships, World Grand Prix Final, Asian Games, and Asian Championships.

My coaching journey has been incredibly fulfilling, highlighted by the achievement of guiding Palesha Goverdhan to Nepal’s first-ever Paralympic medal. I have been honored with numerous coaching awards and received letters of appreciation and cash prizes from notable figures, including the Honorable President of Nepal, the Honorable Prime Minister, the Minister of Youth and Sports, the National Sports Council, the National Paralympic Committee Nepal, the Nepal Olympic Committee, Provincial Governments, Kathmandu Metropolitan City, and various other organizations. Additionally, I have been recognized with several Best Coach awards in Nepal.

Outside of my professional life, I enjoy mentoring young athletes, traveling, and spending quality time with my family—especially my wife, Sunita Lama, and my daughter, Sangmu Negi Lama. I also take great pleasure in playing the guitar. I am deeply motivated by the opportunity to uplift and inspire the next generation of athletes. My ultimate goal is to make history in Nepali Para Taekwondo by securing a historic medal for the country in upcoming events such as the Paralympic Games, World Championships, Asian Games, and other major competitions.
